Richard Hedgecock

The Artistry of Richard Hedgecock

Artist, framer, inventor and animal-lover, Richard Hedgecock is a gentle Renaissance man.  His studio and gallery in Kernersville, N.C., has been a source of his original work for over 35 years. From local patrons in his hometown to international collectors, many appreciate the soulful attentiveness Richard brings to his paintings.

Using a variety of media, including oils, acrylics and watercolors, Hedgecock captures the inner essence of every subject. His paintings include tranquil landscapes and historic places, insightful portraits of wonderful people and vivid portrayals of God's creatures.

Hedgecock, 63, resides in the Piedmont region of North Carolina with his wife, Penny. At their quiet, wooded farm, they care for over 60 dogs, 20 cats and four horses, which provide a neverending supply of artistic inspiration.
